When something is wrong, it helps enormously if you mention your iOS version, your iPhone model, and what you were doing when it happened. If a stage boundary went unnoticed, say roughly when — the server keeps a schedule and it can be checked.

Common questions

A stage ended and I heard nothing.
Almost always a Focus mode. iOS silences notifications from apps that are not on the Focus's allowed list, and ErgoShift warns about this when it can detect one. Add ErgoShift under Settings → Focus → your Focus → Apps. Also check that notifications are allowed at all, in Settings → ErgoShift → Notifications.
Blocked apps are not being blocked.
Blocking needs Screen Time permission, which is granted once, during onboarding or later from Profile → Blocked apps. If you declined it then, iOS will not ask again from inside the app — grant it in Settings → Screen Time. Blocking only runs during work stages, never during breaks.
I paid, but Pro is not on.
Open the Pro screen and tap Restore purchases. If it still says nothing to restore, make sure the Apple Account on the device is the one that paid. Purchases made before signing in stay on the device; signing in with Apple in Profile attaches them to your account so they follow you to a new phone.
How do I cancel the subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled on the device: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → ErgoShift. Deleting the app or your ErgoShift account does not cancel billing — Apple owns that side.
How do I delete my account and data?
Profile → Delete account. It removes your account, your shifts and stages, your scheduled boundaries and your device registrations from the server. It cannot cancel an App Store subscription; see above.
The Live Activity on the Lock Screen is frozen or gone.
Check that Live Activities are enabled in Settings → ErgoShift. If one disappears mid-shift, opening the app restores it from the running shift.
My music does not start under work stages.
That feature plays through Apple Music and needs an active Apple Music subscription plus permission, which the switch itself asks for. It plays only under work stages and stops when a break begins.
